Julesburg is a small village located in the northeastern corner of Colorado near the border with Nebraska. The town was initially founded in the 1860s as a stagecoach stop on the Overland Trail and then became a railroad town when the Union Pacific Railroad was constructed in the area in the late 1860s. Today, Julesburg is a quiet, rural community with a population of around 1,225 people according to the 2020 U.S. Census.

Julesburg has a rich history and is home to several historic sites and landmarks, including the original Pony Express Station, the historic depot building, and the Stagecoach Museum.
